Seasalt - free p & p on all orders at the moment. I am not sure of expiry date. They still have their jute shopping bags on 2 for £8.00 and a few bits left in the sale. There are some lovely Christmas bags ideal for presents and the jute Christmas wine bags are 2 for £5.00.

Is it really worth paying so much extra for 'sea salt', when you see how cheap a packet of salt is in Tesco.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Brilliant spot, thanks OP.
Most Christmas designs are now out of stock.
Really wanted the 'make do and mend' jute, but that is also o/s. Two cute jutes on their way to me though;)I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
I buy lots of things from this company, including their jute bags, tops etc. I am always pleased when they have free p&p. I first saw it when I was in Falmouth and fell in love with just about everything they do. Last year, all my Christmas gifts were presented in their Christmas jute bags, large and small. The bags are still in use today and are wearing well, so the other day I bought some more.0

That's not a serious question it it? :eek:
This thread isn't about actual salt just that it is the name of a company.
...but just in case it is a serious questionyes, sea salt is miles better in cooking or for seasoning - Maldon or Halen Mon are both excellent. And you need less of it, which is a good thing!
Sea salt or Seasalt, both are great0 -

‘Posh’ salts such as rock and sea salts have been popularised by TV chefs who sprinkle them liberally on their culinary creations. New research from CASH (Consensus Action on Salt and Health) and Which? reveals that gourmet rock and sea salts are as damaging to your health as regular salt, despite on pack claims that the products are ‘natural’ and ‘contain minerals’.

It's the other way around;
“It is disgraceful that chefs still encourage people to use so much sea and rock salt” says Professor Graham MacGregor of the Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine and Chairman of CASH. “This has the added danger that, as the crystal sizes are much larger and don’t taste as salty, more salt is consumed.

Just in case it is a serious question, y'all understand.:)
Not that it makes a blind bit of difference to Seasalt who sell bags not salt.0 -
