I want to make some fudge for my xmas hampers, how far in advance can I get away with making it? I like to have everything done well in advance so that I'm not rushing around last minute trying to get things done.

In my house, less than a day. If you can keep sticky fingers at bay, up to two months in a sealed tin, according to Goodfood magazine.0
