We heard thunderstorms were on the way but nothing happened. It was raining and sunny at the same time here around lunchtime.

So close to your holiday now, how exciting, hope DH stays well. I know how you feel, I've always got my fingers crossed when we're going on holiday because of Mr SA, don't really relax until we're at the airport and checked in.

I think it's the fact that we haven't flown since the accident SA. I'll feel better once the first flight is done and we have landed safely in Florida Xx

The first time Mr SA flew after his tumour he felt dizzy and it was quite scary at one point, so you might have to expect some sort of reaction. I think it's a brain thing unfortunately xx

That's what I'm worried about SA :(. I will have rescue meds with me and will ask Consultant on Monday if there's anything else I need to consider Xx

I know it is difficult but try to stay calm and well. I love lists, couldn't manage without them. Though since my memory problems I sometimes forget I have a list

I hope DH stays well before and during your holiday xx

I'm finally at the bottom of my ironing pile!! For the next week I just need to keep on top of washing and ironing anything we wish to take. It's hard while we are still wearing stuff we want to take with us - oh to have a wardrobe full of 'just holiday' clothes!!

DH is working his way through the Harry Potter films again. Despite watching all 8 films before we went to the HP studios in Watford in August, he can't remember them, so he's doing the same thing again so he can appreciate the HP World at Universal Studios properly. He can't remember the Watford studio visit either though :(.

Going out for a meal with the Mums from school tonight :T.

Hope you have a fab time tonight xx Well deserved respite.

Mr SA is like Mr Lucky with Top Gear, and that's the old episodes pre-Amazon Prime. He thinks he's discovered new episodes - he must've seen them all several times but can't remember.

I try to put an embargo on wearing stuff needed for holiday a few days before.

  • Hi PLMBL.

When you go to HP in universal make sure you go early as the big rides get busy quickly and you also have to put all your belongings in a locker which can be a bit hectic, in fact the less you can carry with you the better. Make sure you ride the Hogswart express both ways as it is a different experience. Its worth going straight platform 9 3/4 at kings cross in universal studios and travelling across to Islands of adventure and getting off at hogsmead, the boys faces with be a picture as they get off the train and see Hogwarts school for the first time,it is truly amazing!
