  • Grandma got out late morning and was still able to go to my Cousin's for lunch :T.

We've had a lovely day, albeit a very early start. Got up to let the dog out for a wee at 4.30am and was met by a very excited DS1 wanting to get up then . Sent him back to bed and said to stay there til at least 6am, thinking he'd fall asleep again and lie in until a decent time. Nope. 6am getty up it was :(.

The boys were thrilled with their presents and MiL made a lovely lunch. My Mum & partner were invited to lunch too, so it was good to see everyone at once. Back home now chilling out.

  • I suppose we have to just enjoy the excitement while it lasts Mummy!

Nice quiet Boxing Day. Called to Mum's because Grandma was there, but left when their meal was ready. Ashamed to say we then called in to Tesco as I only bought 2 'D' batteries for one of DS2's gifts (because that's what the Argos website said I needed when I bought it!), but we realised yesterday that it actually needs 4 :mad:. I normally don't go near the shops on Boxing Day as I still think they should be closed, so I felt rather guilty!!

Apart from that we've just hung around the house. Boys have been enjoying their new things, been out with the dog a few times, did some ironing, had leftovers for lunch and watched tv. Perfect Xx

  • Been out for Mum's birthday today. She thought she was going out with her partner's family only, so it was nice to see her happy when we suprised her. Also going out for a meal tomorrow with the rest of our family. Was looking forward to that til I got weighed tonight and discovered I've gained 9lbs over 3 weeks . DH has gained 12 and is utterly miserable!! Wish he hadn't got weighed :( Xx

Dread to think how much weight I've gained after being off my feet for 6 weeks. So miffed as I was back at goal. Maybe I should just eat nothing :) You'll soon lose it again once you're back to normal, everyone is the same this time of year. I remember a few years ago when I was at WW after Christmas, one of the women had been ill with a tummy bug all over Christmas and had lost weight. Everyone in the class was so jealous. Poor woman had just had a miserable time :)

Glad you're having some lovely meals out.
