  • Weather has been awful today so we shelved thoughts of going to the Northumberland County Fair. Shame, it would've been a nice day out. Tempted to move the money it would've cost into Florida pot, but being sensible, we'll probably spend it on a different day out this week instead, so will leave it for now.

Just had a day mainly in the house instead, but no NSD as needed to go to Mr T's. Mum came round for a bit too.

Sis and SIL finally got their anniversary cake in Zante - a day late! Can't complain though, as when I'd emailed their hotel last week to see if there was anything I could arrange through them to mark the occasion, I was fully expecting to pay. However, lovely girl at the hotel said they'd do it complimentary :T. Shame she got the date wrong :rotfl:.

  • Glorious day here today :T. Perfect weather for a day at the coast. Dropped DS1 off at his mate's caravan in Bamburgh (happy dance :j), and then DH, DS2, Oakley and I had some fun on the beach. I love DS1 obviously, but it's been great having no bickering or whinging! He's staying with mate's family for at least tonight, so will see what the next day or two brings.

Made another small sale on eBay which should clear around £5. Will add that, and Sunday's profit, to Florida pot after posting tomorrow. Still haven't got round to listing any more, so that's top of my to do list for the next couple of days.

Gained 3lbs last night . I've been in a weird 'life is for living' frame of mind for the last week. This has extended to eating nice food, and buying new chairs for the garden amongst other things :o. In my defence re the chairs, they had 25% off and then I had vouchers too, so not a huge amount of 'real' money spent!

  • Thank you both :A.

DS1 is back and arguing has recommenced .

£7 added to Florida pot from the last 2 ebay sales.

£16 spent in the garden centre to replenish pots in the back garden that Oakley muched his way through as a pup . Just got lots of cheap and cheerful bedding plants for a splash of colour.
