Long over the knee socks?

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can buy any long over the knee socks? I have bought them before, but they just cover the knee... I want some that are longer if you know what I mean. I want to wear them with skirts and boots, but find tights uncomfortable.
Any makes that are particularly long??

Depends on how long your legs are I suppose!

Primark's over-the-knee socks only just cover the knee on my 34" legs, but they reach nearly all the way up to the crotch on my mum's 29" legs!!

I find our local market that is held every Saturday has a stall that sells brilliant ones so perhaps your town would have a similar stall in a market?

Primark ones are useless unless you're short!

I'd check ebay. Over the knee socks are popular in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia etc so I'm sure you'll be able to find some realtively cheaply on there.

I second EBay. They used to sell Knickerbox ones, which I've worn for years now. I'm with you, OP, can't stand tights (unless it's absolutely brass monkeys outside) but I wear a lot of skirts.

Yes, I spose my legs are quite long. I'm 5 ft7".

Quality ones are quite hard to find. I've had a lot of supposedly over the knee socks over the years which don't stay up, or which shrink in the wash. I'd say don't go for the mega cheap ones.
