Are there any issues with getting/paying a mortgage but living somewhere else the majority of the time?
Maybe only staying in the new place a few times a week

If you make it your main home no problem.
Why buy a place to leave empty a lot of the time?0 -
have commitments at home just now but eventually I'd be living in the new place all the time
I know saving up more until I fully move out would be better but I could still get some use out the new place just now and start getting it paid off sooner rather than later0
