    Thank you both.
    Appreciated:A:A

It's maybe something in the weather this weekend, had to tackle three rude people on an fb group which is normally very supportive. Hopefully they'll all go back in their burrows or somewhere they can be rude to each other and not everyone else.

    I have been chanting. ...
Although I chant at home I always feel that chanting in a big group is powerful & gives me a wee lift.
That's something else to put on the list I just made - I love chanting, absolutely love it.

Oh Beanie you are the kindest and most supportive person on these boards and I am sorry someone's clumsy words have made you feel differently .... You go out of your way to help others both publicly and privately and everyone knows that. You are one lovely person xxxx
    Totally! Couldn't agree more :kisses3:

  • Someone was rude to me on the PPI board :(. This is why I never leave DFW normally. Some people seem to get off on being obnoxious, but they don't tend to come on this board thank goodness!

Glad you enjoyed your chanting Beanie :).

I have foreign students in the summer and the hardest ones to teach are those that know everything in English, but the hardest ones to host are those that don't know any language, so you have my sympathy!

Just visualise me trying to mime "eggs" in Tenerife 15 months ago, lots of miming of wing flapping and egg breaking. When I was in Cuba with a couple with no english and my limited spanish; he would mime and I would get, she would just talk at speed and assume language osmosis would take place. I know which I preferred.

Cuando mi en Cuba con un novio y una novia con sin inglesa y mi espanola poco, el .... y yo creo....ella habla vita.

As you can see it's not there but definately better. Have them back in 15 months Beanie :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Some people are patronising. I do think the times we are living in at the moment don't help. Everyone is right or wrong.

    Obviously I am right :T:T:T:T:T:T

I don't think it was aimed at you Beanie. Everyone knows you were trying to help. I don't think you (or anyone else) should be bothered about it. No one can tell you what to post or not.

I can understand the sentiment, but it was perhaps worded a little strongly and I don't think it was meant to be aimed at anyone in particular.

I agree with you that if something can be done that the pressure should be kept up, but I also agree with the other poster that if nothing can be done it should be let go and let things take their course. I don't know how the system works so can't comment on which view should be taken forward.

I'm glad you are feeling better and well done on clearing the ottoman! I can seriously relate to having too much stuff!

De lurking to say I agree with jwil post.
