Oh beanie. I had quite a few Christmases with just my mum and me, and they weren't the most fun I ever had - do you chant ever, when your mum's around? How can you take care of yourself?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I get on well with my mum most of the time, & there will be other people there including one who is also staying over night.
I am still dithering about if I need to buy her a gift.
I am resigned to not seeing DS which I am sad about but am ok with it if that makes sense.

Hope you’re feeling better and not too sore after your falls.
I’d be tempted to wrap a little edible gift and bring it out should the person in question bring gifts. If not keep it and eat yourself.....or is that the Scrooge in me coming out:eek::eek:January spends - £587.580

Good idea from Milann re a food gift.
The Parma violet gin was nice by the way but don't think I'd buy a full bottle, slightly too sweet for me. Tonight's was Whitley Neill rhubarb and ginger which was nice.
My Christmas Day will consist of just me, Mr SA and DD - thank goodness for gin :rotfl:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
