It’s so hard when they grow up Beanie - I was awful and felt really redundant - I think I stilll do - when my 2 finished their studies.....and I realised my dd had made a new life 200 miles away where the jobs for her chosen profession were. We chat on t’internet and see each other as often as we can but it’s not as if we can just pop around for a cuppa. So I’m not surprised you’re feeling a tad emotional at the moment.January spends - £587.580

It is sad. You sacrifice so much for them, are so involved in their lives, love them so much, and then suddenly you're not needed any more

My cousin has been visiting from down south for a few days which has been lovely.
We 'get' eachother but hardly see eachother.
