I used to like Carnation - haven’t had it for years. My mum used to pour it over tinned fruit. It was either that or Nestle’s tinned cream on Sundays. I don’t think I ever remember seeing fresh cream. Oh those lovely Dickensian days.......:D

My gran used to make some pudding with jelly & carnation milk whipped in. That takes me back.
I remember when I was a wee girl you could buy pots of cream in the baker :drool: No woder I have a sweet tooth :rotfl:

I used to love Dream Topping when I was a nipper. My mum used it to top trifles, I used to drive her potty just eating the topping and leaving the rest. Wonder if you can still get it?

DH says Dream Topping is like a mixture between Angel Delight and custard. They sell it in Asda for 79p apparently

Some local councils have calculators on their websites to check entitlement, the other option would be using entitledto website.

If you have older children living with you then some councils make a deduction from the maximum benefit you can get as they are expected to pay their own way so definitely worth checking again now that DS and his GF have gone

So EE do you think only haviong an adapted bathroom with a wet room may help with the disabled persons council tax deduction.
Not entitled to means tested reduction.

My gradmother puts evaporated milk on tinned fruit, always takes me back to my childhood. Love it still.

Angel delight is delicious. OH doesn't like it so all the more for me!
