Sorry its still so bad, beanie. I'm with the others - don't stop posting! Though one thing I do remember doing is the gratitude exercise, which really does help - three things that you're grateful for during each day. The colour of the sky (!), the attitude of someone that helped you, a tv programme you enjoyed (the joy of Have I Got A Bit More News For You is not to be underestimated!).

    Lots of hugs.

  • Agree with those saying keep posting, but ONLY if it's not making you feel worse about things. I think it's important to remember that we ALL go through good times and bad times - and you've been such a support for others on here, now maybe it's time to let others pay that forwards and be a support to you?

I nearly ran out of milk yesterday - can you use the bottle from the one that went off, well washed out, to put an "emergency bottle" in the freezer in case that happens again? Might get you out of trouble and save you going out specially particularly if the weather is pants.

  • Good idea re the milk, EH! Another option is a small carton of longlife in the cupboard. Doesn't taste quite the same as fresh but a whole lot better than off-milk!

So from now on in I am going to try hard to only concentrate on the mortgage free part of this diary which is what is was for.
I will not be posting so much.
    What????
I know I am being supremely selfish but your posts keep me going sometimes. I find this malarky so hard sometimes, so please keep posting. Pretty please...
I hope today has been kind to you :)

    To peak through the night.

Did you sleep well through it? A guy at work didn't sleep a wink worrying his roof was about to do a whistle-stop tour of his neighbour's gardens.

I found a better idea was to freeze "milk cubes". You can then just use enough to suit and keep the rest for when they're needed. And they defrost quick too.

Don't keep them too long before using though, as the water sublimes and you end up with essentially dried milk powder cubes.

Which work - don't get me wrong - but are a little hard to dissolve.

Sometimes it's good to get it off your chest. Though I probably moan too much about other people's driving... :o
