Cats prey drive isn't great - it's why I don't have a cat flap. I still found a squashed dead rat under some outdoor furniture though...

    I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy

All this talk of creatures being brought home by furry friends or entering by other means is getting to be too much! 😉

Hope you have a lovely, sunny, happy day 😊🌞

PS - quite deliberately NOT sharing my horror stories of ‘presents’ brought home to us … 😉
Thank you so much for not sharing.

I am meeting friends for lunch shortly. I am hoping that sitting in the conservatory will dry my hair meantime.

  • @savingholmes. A dead rat!!!!! Bet you were glad it was outside rather than inside!

@KajiKita. Yes I agree, let’s not share any more stories about the “presents” brought in by our furry friends. I too have had many “presents” until I adjusted the cat flap so that the cat could only get out and had to be let in.

@beanielou.Enjoy your lunch out with friends.  It’s manic round here, next door is having a new roof, the guy attached to us is noisily doing some DIY and the guy who does our garden has just arrived! So much for a peaceful retirement!

@FreetodoasIlike. Is there any such thing as a peaceful retirement?

Had a lovely lunch with my friends & somehow managed to not spend anything & came home with cake! Managed to also dodge the torrential rain showers too.
