Garden plans sound great, I'm glad you are going to get some quotes. Hopefully they are reasonable

Definitely the garden……life is for living and enjoying.Use the funeral money and if needed some of the boiler cash and re build the boiler cash. You won’t be around to worry about the funeral which can be taken from the estate anyway.January spends - £587.584

Just catching up with everything and glad that your mum is much better, but I'm sorry for your falls. Your walker looks great. Does it fold up behind your drivers seat upright? Mine collapses all the way down and is in my boot. But sometimes I have trouble with bending to unclip it and get it set up, so it defeats the point when I'm weak or unsteady on my feet. It's good that you did that for yourself, and the cost is okay, as being disabled/poorly is so expensive, but when we get the right tools/adaptations, they are literally worth their weight in gold.
I'm glad you're doing your garden in time for summer. I've only got a small shared balcony but being able to sit out on my half (and try and ignore the overflowing junk of my neighbours) makes me feel much better. It gives me some calming time out, especially when I sit out there with a blanket and glass of wine. This summer I'm going to paint the railings and put up a proper barrier/divider between the balconies so that I can enjoy my space properly.

It folds nicely & yes is very lightweight. The boot is now to heavy for me to manage sadly.Keedie said:Just catching up with everything and glad that your mum is much better, but I'm sorry for your falls. Your walker looks great. Yes, looking forward to the garden looking way better. It is currently beyond dire.
My mum is still on the mend but still quite a way to go.
Hope your plans for your balcony come together
