Fingers crossed @Sun_Addict that we do get a Indian summer & it's not when you are away.
I am hoping for sun soon too

I had a dress on today & it was none too warm.
It has certainly been a dissapointing summer.

My shopping this week was £41 & only two bags to show for it.
The beans I buy were £1 the last time I bought them & today they were £1.70!!

I got an order today from the infamous Temu.
What a lot of blooming tosh.
    I can't recommend.

The start of the summer was so promising too.  Really hoping for some fine days before the autumn sets in.

    Fortune x

Here's hoping for sun soon  :grin  :

Sorry to hear the Temu purchases were rubbish, I've been tempted a few times due to non-stop adverts on social media but will continue to avoid based on your feedback.
The weather really has been dire, the June heatwave feels like so long ago...
I think to be fair it depends what you order.

I have yet to succumb to Temu but they do have cute pet stuff and craft things.
    They do.
I got a cat blanket that is so wee Miss S barely fits on it.

there are also serious data concerns about them - more relating to personal than financial
So I have realised this week.
I have now deleted the app.

Tbh Lou if you need sleep then you need it.   I've done very little else Friday and Saturday (COVID) with a little bit of this and a little bit of that in between.

I hadn't heard of Temu till last week when an interior designer I follow on YouTube did a vlog on it. He did mention that some people on very low incomes use it because it is so cheap, perhaps don't have a choice and maybe shouldn't be judged, but basically he was of the opinion that it's not good - contributes to fast waste and there's questions over how the people who produce these items are treated.....

Finally caught up (haven’t read every post since 2015 but randomly, the last three years or so) so feel I can comment now 😊

I had a nana-nap this afternoon before going out and working in the garden later. Mr KK fell asleep in the garden. It’s summer - are we not allowed some downtime at this time of year? 🤷‍♀️😉😊 Plus, I suspect you might still be recovering from the additional tension / stress that the PIP application caused you? Rest is allowed 😊
