Glad you're having time with friends beanie it does lift the spirits.I was one of the women in the last group to get my pension at the age it was promised back in the day/ I've always struggled to understand why they moved the goalposts for those who followed and ignored all the campaigns over the years. So much for levelling up!Too many words and not enough action there. Reality is the wealthy have no concept of life struggling to get by It isn't on their radar. In the Wall St crash multi millionaires found themselves in poverty having wasted money. morgaged homes and businesses and heavily in debt. Those who didn't live that way were more equipped to find a way through. It isn't fair but if you have to live to a budget, cook from scratch , grow your own and make do and mend you are better equipped to survive than those in the hand made shoes and Savile Row suits.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.6 -

Watched that too, I used to love Rose Royce. I have so many albums and 12 inch singles from the late 70s and early 80s in my loft. I was only saying to Mr SA tonight I have some white label DJ 12 inch singles from the early 80s up there. I used to spend a fortune on records, dread to think how much!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
