My kitchen is a good size but I would not want it to be on the edge of the worktop so would have to move it back when not using it.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Sounds as if you had a lovely bank holiday - I missed watching the Pageant but want to watch it on catch up.
I know what you mean about the Ninja being too heavy……Dh fancied something to take in Millie and we’ve been looking at various options….I found Ninjas too heavy for me too. Think we’ve settled on getting an electronic grill endorsed by the old boxer…..but there are so many models it ridiculous - why is making a decision so complicated- especially when Dh is involved 😂😂😂😂 We actually have gas and an electric hob but something we can use outside that is electrical rather than using our gas is what Dh is after.January spends - £587.587 -
I bought youngest dd and her boyfrind a soup maker for Christmas Beanie. I had been struggling to think what to buy them and mentioned it to an online friend from MSE.She sent me a link to the soup maker she owned and with physical disabilities herself found a great help. I spent days reading the description and reviews on the Big River Site and it was only then I realised I always looked at things to see if they could be disability friendly and had been doing so for many years having Arthritis and Fibro so I looked at the weight, the shape of the handle and other things.DD in the middle of painful intensive dental treatment was pretty well iving on soup so I emailed her and asked if they'd like a soup maker and she said it would help so I ordered one direct to her.My friend had said the weight is in the lid so on days it seems too heavy her boyfriend deals with lifting it too pour out the soup and on better days she can manage it herself. It's been a game changer for her. She;s working her way through a book of 100 Healthy Soup Recipies paperback for something like a fiver I ordered at the same time and both arrived free Prime Del.I now have the same soupmaker and book myself and it's been so quick to use and makes use of odd bits of veg , herbs etc too.We both looked long and hard at the Ninja and camre to the conclusion we'd probably end up sending it back.A great idea but only for those fitter than we are.pollyxxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.7
