In other ponderings I am thinking about replacing my bedroom carpet as it's manky.
I was going to wait 18 months til DS has done his further uni year.
Then I thought I will get a quote at the moment as prices are just going to go up.

There are often 'buy now, pay later' deals on carpet, so you could take advantage of that and just put the money aside. They are absolutely hideous terms if you don't hit the payment dates though, so do read all the small print.(I did this as I figured it felt better than adding to the 0% card, but when I got the terms agreement, realised they don't just start charging interest at 30% a year after, they also add all the interest for the first year - so am keeping a careful eye on the cheeky barstewards.)Debt free May 2016... If you can afford it go for it. It will cheer you up…..but you’ve worked so hard to get yourself sorted financially, don’t make yourself feel worse by getting it, then regretting it later 😏 So if you decide to go for it……enjoy it and don’t look back regret the purchase…..but please think carefully…..only you know what’s best for you 👍👍January spends - £587.583
