I missed it too. Those at the top of politics have no idea about ordinary people and the struggles they face 🤬🤬🤬January spends - £587.585

I can no longer watch the ten o’clock news as it leaves me so wound up, it disturbs my sleep. It’s not just the decisions that politicians make, it’s their assumption that we are all stupidMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. I didn't watch it, but it absolutely stinks. None of them have a clue what it's like to really struggle. There are also things that they should really be doing, like helping people insulate their homes. Such a low cost policy (relatively speaking), and would massively help those in fuel poverty as well as tackle the climate crisis, but they've always refused, and the ridiculous attempts at green deals are just laughable and still inaccessible to most.
They really don't understand and don't care!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
It's Friday!

I have no faith in politicians. They all promise the earth then once in power are only interested in themselves. Not long to go before your mum’s big day 🎂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Totally - I need to know what they're on about, but I can't listen to them spouting their gibberish, so I read articles about them, or put them on mute and read the subtitles. Very aggravating.
Hurray for things starting to happen in a week's time! And yes, make sure you build in some rest periods beforehand, so you don't make yourself ill with doing too much.2023: the year I get to buy a car7
