This lets me delete 200 at a time which is better than 50 at a time.

Otherwise Outlook/Hotmail has a sweep function if you open in the browser rather than the app.  You click on the email then select sweep at the top.  It allows you various options including delete all but the last email.

I'm with Yahoo too so can only echo SA.   You have reminded me that I need to tidy up my emails. I need to set up quite a few new folders and have been putting it off.....☹️

On the far left of the line below the refresh, compose etc line is an empty square box. Click on that (relates to every email) press delete, you will receive a prompt to confirm.
