    Yikes at lumpy hands :(

Beanie - mindfulness, to let go of the worrying? Fresh air, even if you're sitting out in the garden? If Z's peregrine falcon comes over, though, you have my permission to go inside sharpish!

It's not the whole hand... :p

It's literally just the bit under the wound. If I annoy it and it swells, it forms a pronounced ridge with the gash right on the edge.

I wasn't that big. Only about the size of a largish seagull. Had a hell of an attitude on it though...

    Lumpy **bits**

And as for not worrying too much about seagulls  I was doing a mystery shop in a marina just down the coast from me one fine April day, and I got dive bombed **repeatedly** by a seagull. I was in a warehouse district (I took a shortcut to try to see the sea) and to be honest it was *really* scary!

If that ever happens again, lunge at it and try to knock it from the sky. They do that to intimidate, but will certainly back off if it thinks you're looking for self-delivering lunch...
