So. A wee weekend update.New to me fridge freezer is now in place & seems to be working.Cooker is coming Monday all things being well.Cannot wait to see the back of the old one.Did some tidying up & decluttering yesterday so house is looking better. Caught up on washing.More paperwork for the foodbank which is extremely stressful at the moment for various reasons I won’t go in to.Expecting an announcement on a stricter lockdown soon. That’s it I think.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I thought you’d just come out of a lockdown up there 😩 Are all these lockdowns actually doing any good?
Glad the fridge freezer is working and the cooker is imminent. Are they fitting it for you too?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Yes. Cooker being delivered & fitted & the old one taken away SA. Added over a £100 quid to the bill but it is what it is.We are currently in a tiered lockdown at the moment & I think it is inevitable that the whole of the country goes into a stricter one.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I always pay to have appliances fitted and the old one taken away. Otherwise you’re left with the faff of trying to sort it yourself. My last fridge freezer was taken away for free when they delivered the new one but they seemed a tad shocked to discover the old one was a massive American style one 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

It sounds as if your having a good revamp of the kitchen 👍 Pleased that the fridge freezer is working well. Mine had been making a strange noise but seems to have stopped now...it’s been working well just grumbling 🤔🤔
