THe cat won't come home til after the work is finished which hopefully wont take them long.
Basically all the old wood & glazing is coming down & will be replaced with UPVC.
They are replacing the roof too.
Yes, sadly the new cat won't replace my boys.
So bitter sweet really.

I had Mr N longer than I was married 
I will need to buy a new cat carrier as left the old one at the vets & have mislaid one.
Need to find out what sort of litter the rescue use.
It's all money money.
I should have waited a bit but hey ho.
At least thew loan money is intact which is a plus.

I really think there are times when we should put certain personal needs above financial ones. I know you've found losing the boys so close together really hard so if your new cat brings you some joy and puts a smile on your face it's worth every penny.

I bet your conservatory will look brand new when you've had the work done. xx

I'm so glad you're getting a new cat Beanie . I had a cat called Burgess Maclean as a child 🤣. Willow is a nice name.
