    Interesting.

I wrote a newsletter today or rather I finished off a piece of work I've been on for a while. One of the things I looked at was comparative returns over the last decade.

Global equities have returned a fraction over 100% as measured by MSCI Global. Global bonds have returned a tiny fraction under 60% as measured by UBS. 30% looks a little mediocre, especially as if I own a house I need to paint it, buy a new bathroom, deal with leaking roofs and burst pipes etc.

Wouldn't say that 100% figure be some kind of 'total equity returns', comprised of both income and, uh, capital gains?
    FACT.

Nah, I`ll leave the multiple ID`s to the HPI Forever crowd, just saying that oil price and Aberdeen property prices are linked.

You have had a couple of days to come up with an excuse, surely you could have thought something up by now, or do you routinely talk to yourself?

An excuse for what, all the people who overpaid for their house in Aberdeen?

Can`t you figure out why I did it, or do you need help joining the dots?
