Losing on Collective tarriff

Hi
I switched today to MSE 1 year collective switch, with Eon, saving according to the figures £121 per year. I've checked again and there's a cheaper quote, (Fixed 1 year v12 switch) in the MSE switch list, still with Eon, using the same figures etc with a quoted saving of £137 per year. Any ideas on how this can be and what I can do please?
Cheers
SteveE

Don't look at the saving - compare the price per kwh and the standing charge
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

10.857 per KWH and 16.422 standing charge on the Fixed 1 year v 12 with the £137 saving
    against
11.140 per KWH and 16.422 standing charge on the collective with £121 saving, so I still don't understand why the collective is higher than the standard tarriff.

Since posting yesterday, I received one reply telling me to look at the kwh and standing charge. Thanks for the advice but I already had and despite the great intentions and pushing of the Collective tarriff, I'll be contacting Eon today to cancel the collective and take up the other tarriff, which looks as though it could be more cost effective in my case. Still haven't had the reponses I thought I might get and still a fan of MSE but just pointing out that in this instance, another tarriff could be better for me, so check.

Not much else forum members can say what responses from forum members are you expecting .
The fact that the Collective may not be as good for you as others is plastered all over the forum .

Thanks for the response JJ, not very helpful or even courteous though. As preveiously stated I am a newbie and not particularly familiar with things so as far as I'm concerned "put down" posts are the least helpful thing anyone can do, so definitely not what I expecting from forum members. Then again some can't feel good about themselves without putting someone else down. Happy Money saving
