I had no idea either savvy.I bought them against sainsbugs:rotfl:
I looked back at msm just now, and it would be good if they would compare T £1.50 vs M at 69p, but it's extremely unlikely. May have helped reach a cond.spend - it won't work barring a very unlikely occurrence - and would lose the 10% to the cond.spend amount.
I suspect, overall, those cond.spend amounts and the cumulative loss of 10% (as opposed to buying at the right times on various items, over time, once any competitor or another pricematches or goes cheaper than A) - I suspect it's much the same. I often found, after BM'ing Sains to A, that T (or even S) would then go to £1 (the same as A) and I'd have lost the 10p. Then, later, somewhere would go to same price as A on another item that I'd already bought BM vs A and...another 10p lost! It adds up and adds up and almost threatens to make worthless my cond.spend I'd used in S.
The cond.spends, supposedly, are not believed to make the supermarkets any money. However, I also think that, sometimes, they do see people spending far more than they need, simply for a few quid off. Or - even - the bizarre one where the percentage amount off, that the cond.spend represents (I always work it out as a %age discount to see if it's worth it) actually reduces - they sound like big amounts - e.g. Mr T with £15 off £90 - fifteen pounds sounds a lot! But, in fact, it's just 17% of the total bill (a horrible £90:eek:) and £4 off a £20 would be a better offer! I reject £3 off £20s these days all the time (or would if I actually shopped there and ever spent enough to get them, but I don't:j:money:).
I had £8 off £40 from Sains for several weeks some time ago, and then later £10 off £30 from T (they were really missing me:D) so, really, unless they give at least a third of the bill off these days I'm not bothering with them - £15 off £90 is very poor therefore. It would have to be at least £30 off and, even then, there's no way I'd give them £60:eek: real cash! Now, where is the £10 cond.spend off a £20 shop that is £10 elsewhere offer?:D:rotfl:0 -
On Groupon there is 500g coconut oil for £6.99, I remember a lot of people talking about it a while ago so thought it might be useful. Don't know if I'm allowed to post links.

20p cashback on cos for parsnips:rotfl:
:rotfl:
65p vs 69p(:eek::rotfl:) M = 62p or thereabouts - 20p = 42p. So, therefore, cheaper than buying at my vs 49p guide!:rotfl::eek::eek: Only just about!
So - Parsnips vs M, even though vs a higher price than before, would make sense in A if COS being used. But not as much sense in Northern Ireland as no M comp. - though 45p I think gets as best as Northern Ireland gets:(, as T and S(:eek:that would never happen!) are not as cheap stores as Morries sometimes.0
