Another day in that hateful place
The only thing stopping me from going sick is a visit from my favourite 3 year old this afternoon
QOC I empathise Hope your day gets better with the visit0 -
Good morning all, bit murky out there! Thanks Munqui
I know what you mean. I end up using a lot of Quorn/Linda McCartney stuff as a compromise as lean mince etc so much pricier.
I've got a slow cooker which gets a lot of use. Love campfire stew in it. Couldn't get baked bean lasagne to work. I'm usually an alright cook but for some reason it just didn't turn out right.
I've looked at an Actifry but seems expensive. We love SW chips/roasties made with frylight in the oven so not sure we'd use it enough to justify the cost.
There is an actifry on offer in T until 3rd December, strangely enough I don't think I can make it down there until early on 4th December :cool:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning everyone.
There are some cheeses on a multibuy so it's still possible to get free cheese. Tosco's own cheese £3 or 2 for £5.
Codes take into account the price before the multibuy.
Thanks I still cant get my head round most of the Tosco deals even after a year :rotfl: Sada is my nearest so I only venture out my comfort zone when I understand it BUT going to look for the mags today0 -
Morning!!
Did a T's yesterday before the prices dropped for C&C this morning.
Not collected yet, but just had a look online and apparently the Pork xmas joint and the Lamb Shoulder are not available, with suggested substitutions.
So with my 3 cheese (was £12, now £6) and my Baileys ( was £18 now £12) my total is £18. Less £15, Less £10. So by my reckoning, I should be £7 in credit......cant see that happening!!
Will wait and see what happens!0 -
Morning, just to let you know that thorntons Xmas box and Aussie set worked for triggers last night shop around 8pm 😄0
-
Just looked and both the Lamb and the Pork are still available to order online for collection tomorrow, so no clue whats going on!!0

Morning
This has happened to me several times ordering fresh meat that's going half price. In fact I stopped doing it because you end up with meat half the weight that you ordered or nothing at all. The SA can see the suggested guide price and it totally confuses them. It's happened to others here too. It's great if it works the way it should but more often than not, it doesn't work well on meatwell not in my experience.

Morning everyone
Catching up and loving the bouncy feel to the thread with lots of peeps posting :T:jMorning everyone.

These are the ones I have been getting - prefer the taste/texture.
Also Finest butter

7 x 250 g packs £12.25. Accepts the £10 of dairy mocs and the £5 Finest xmas bonus, so all free and money off shopping.
Lots of bargains too even if only using 2 of the 4 dairy mocs - 4 x Lurpack spreadable 500g on 2 for £4 will take off £6 of mocs, so £2 for 4 tubs.
Happy eggs on a good multibuy too - look for multi offers where individual price is high and close to combined multi price as mocs see total before multi discount comes off
Hope shops work out as expected for everyone0 -
