We all miss him, it made this year worse than ever. 2 years ago Pepsis brother Flapjack went mia and never returned. Microchipped too but we've heard nothing at all, which gives me hope he may return one day.
we used to have a cat & he would disappear for days at a time then one time he came back without his collar on which was a strap like collar so no way would he have been able to take it off then he went missing again the next day before i could get him another collar & never came back :( i think someone took him :(

Ds3 cat sleeps at night indoors and has access in and out during the day. When he first got him as a kitten he already had a 4 year old doctored tom cat and they weren't too much trouble.

About 5 or 6 weeks ago Pepsi got ran over so resident cat was alone.

Guest cat sleeps in house and as far as I kow had access during the day. He is only being kept shut in for a few weeks to make sure he doesn't run off and gets used to the new abode. omg if I were him I'd make a run for it as soon as I could after the times he's been whacked. and growled at.

:( We had 3, they came one at a time but we're about 3 months apart in age so met as kittens and bonded well. One died and after a year we adopted 2 more when their owner couldn't look after them. One was very distressed, pooing etc everywhere and we let her out early, she ran away. :( The other was really unfriendly but we managed to keep him in for the suggested 6 weeks. He claimed a chair in the dining room as his and that helped. He got lost for a couple months but came back. He is more settled now although will go for my two if they get too close. I don'T think they are stressed but they aren'T keen on each other.

It's been a year in total now so has taken a long time!

Did you watch that Catwatch show? They will end up dividing their territory and then will be able to cope. Give them separate areas to feed, poo etc and that will help. You can'T force them. :(
