Cereals are good (not as good as the 32p glitch or whatever it was of several years back, but never mind). I was hoping they would, surely by now?, have updated to T's new price!:mad: Grrr!! But...all is well!:):) Plenty of time on this btw as offer not due to expire until early December (unless they bring it forward).

8 items on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Tesco

0.37 x ASDA Bananas by Weight per kg£0.25£0.25
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Apple Pies (6)£0.50£0.50
1 x ASDA Smartprice Soft Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream (2L)£0.89£0.89
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Sparkling Water (2L)£0.17£0.17
    1 x Kellogg's Coco Pops (800g)£3.98£1.92
1 x ASDA Smartprice Pork Luncheon Meat (250g)£0.75£0.55
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Choc Ices (8x57ml)£0.70£0.70
1 x ASDA Smartprice Medium Sliced White Bread (800g)£0.45N/A
    1 x Nestle Shreddies (1Kg)£3.88£1.94
    Comparison total (compared products only)£11.12£6.92

Just in order to find this out:
    Vs Morries
1 x ASDA Smartprice Medium Sliced White Bread (800g)£0.45£0.50

Might be oh so slightly better vs Morries actually as, although it looks like 50p less 10% of 5p = 45p, I noticed APG was giving an extra penny recently even when A was exactly 10% cheaper than a rival on that part of a basket that was comparable. The second decimal place (a zero) on the comparable competitor bill was, nonetheless, rounding up to the next penny on the actual calculation of the APG voucher. However, I should of course have got that item as a whoops one:rotfl:. Member of family wanted more white bread - they are getting it through it fast:mad:. I told them I could not get it earlier - I can Wholemeal that appears as Brown but not White as that compares to Sains. at 55p:(. So, it had to wait!! They weren't right out anyway.

I was just out of Mr A and saw another customer with a trolley-load of stuff - it was dark by this point but I noticed they had a pack of Shreddies. Are they the right size of Shreddies though? I wondered. I could only see just as I overtook them. Glanced around and...

No:(!!:rotfl::rotfl: The pack was too small - it was the 750g pack. So, they choose to pay A's £2 on that as opposed to the 250g more pack that works out cheaper - not even just cheaper per g. but actually cheaper cheaper, gives you 250g for the same price and then takes more off of that price!:T I do like ignoring the pack of cereal that looks good price in the store (therefore quite likely isn't) and picking a different one instead:D:rotfl::rotfl:!:j:T:rotfl:

No glitches:eek: on the shop, just 'good' comparisons.

Giving you and other people advanced warnings because you said that you always miss out on the Sun+ deals.

Free pizza voucher will likely be downloadable from midnight tonight. Also, you can get a free copy of Men's Fitness and Woman's Fitness delivered to your door (not that you need it ;)).

AND you can get a free Little Chef breakfast from next week.

Told you it'd be worth it.

No information on the Morries promo as of yet...

a post breaking this rule has been removed.

Thanks. I notice - this is just me being me again and not an attempt to challenge anything - that the link links to a post by an "Official" (or "Former Official") "Forum Manager" - even though they are not "Official" in the sense of being an employee of a government department or public body and therefore not "official" within the approach adopted by the Advertising Standards Authority, but anyway, that wasn't my main point - that suggests - this part is my main point - if your post breaks the rule, then "unfortunately" it will be removed.

"Unfortunately"? However, the rule is itself a creation by the forum and therefore the managers that support it and therefore any "unfortunate" element to it arises entirely from the forum/website choosing to have that rule. If the rule were abolished, or were to not to exist, and there is no reason why the website could not take that approach other than its own wish (or, maybe, whim?) then there would be no "unfortunate" aspect to anything at all. In fact, maybe the removal of rule-breaking posts is not "unfortunate", as described, at all. Surely, if a post breaks the rules, it is fortunate that it is removed. Otherwise, is compliance with the rules (or enforcing them) an "unfortunate" thing?*

I've commented about how "normal" people (almost) "never" follow rules, such as speed limit signs etc. (well over 90% of drivers admit to speeding), so no rule is for me to challenge - I'd be the person, left standing at the end of the world, still following it and doing so pedantically and to an absolute tee. I'm very good at that (too good:eek:). Normal person really does not realise the sometimes somewhat irksome requirement that all their rules added together impose on the ASD person. I 'worry' about it (maybe worry too strong a word) intensively - worst is when two rules conflict. (I can't simultaneously follow both and yet try to.) It's a real pain in fact - and then seeing other people constantly committing technical breaches of rules in RL. The rules don't seem to apply to anyone there except me!

Anyway, be that as it may, it's just one of my 'interesting' posts again.:)

*I suspect it is from the non-ASD person's approach:rotfl:. There they are - breaking rules, their 'own' rules that own non-ASD people set, and then seeing the enforcement of them or removal of posts to comply with them as "unfortunate". It's not unfortunate at all IMO. It's absolutely necessary and perfectly fortunate in order to comply with the rule, which in almost certain part only other non-ASD people could ever think of not complying with in the first place.
