Dilemma this evening! Darts or the football?!
So I've settled for bothGot the screens set up side by side on the laptop  Darts are muted and I've got the football commentary on, best of both worlds :rotfl:

Flying visit, got to leave house in 5 mins and not a chance to catch up......
Anyway, spotted the 160 bag PG tips with monkey box in a small T's superstore today for £2.50. Thought this was a decent price. Not sure if this was store specific? Seems they are still £4 on line.
Perhaps if anyone else see's them at this cheaper price in T's they can post too.:D I have a few

from this afternoon, oh dear, a bit big
I keep forgetting about the sweet potatoes and water giving adverse effects.
bacon is a useful filler
crisps were an unexpected bonus addition to the APG
Appletiser was for Shopotize
the main problem is that if I was trying to get a better expiry date and its not a lot better than the last one

2 x ASDA Smartprice Sparkling Water (2L) £0.34 £0.36
2 x John Frieda Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir (100m... £19.98 £8.00

Water still contributes to the APG (vs M). Not as much as vs T though. I still remember how these were 14p 'everywhere' several years ago. Neutral vs W as W doesn't have any equivalent to S/P. But...watch vs Sains:mad::mad::mad::( - I hate you Mr S! - as lose out vs there. That is quite why I bought the S/P Spaghetti Loops on my vs S shop. Fortunately, nasty Mr S(:rotfl:) does not have Basics Spaghetti Loops. Do not get the plain Spaghetti in Tom Sauce tin though - that's the one where they are twice as expensive - 15p vs 30p:eek:. You can of course get the SP 'ordinary' Spaghetti on its own, at straight 15p, or put it vs W or - slightly best - vs M at 16p (10% off 16p). So, even though the Loops are 16p in A, they are better on a Sains comp. than the 15p ordinary comparing vs S and opting them into being 27p. Of course it's all a price increase as they were 13p in A earlier in the year! Was then good only vs Waitrose (N/A:rotfl:) as everywhere else slightly more expensive - albeit not to the extent that Sains is now:eek: on its basics high quality spaghetti:(.
It may be better to buy the Value Spaghetti in Tomato sauce in T, as T is higher weight and should compare vs A at straight price without any weight adjustment being made. T suggests that it believes that that is fair. And - I agree with you there!
I've never seen whether or not T's Eday Value spaghetti tin compares vs A - not sure why no-one has apparently ever tried it? Msm (of no consequence) suggests that T also have an Eday Value Spaghetti Hoops tin and therefore this may compare to A's S/P Spaghetti Loops. Hoops. Loops. Who knows, maybe, maybe not - the way these potentially pedantic computers work (or don't) - the PP machine might see the words as different words and therefore not link them up - they don't have common sense these machines:D.
The Potato Sticks and Bacon Bites are a price increase in M recently. Were 70p a couple of months ago I think.
But: hey, the JFs paid for them!:T
The Sweet Potatoes do lose out vs M though. Is that £1.00/kg vs £1.19/kg? Probably.
And, you're right: the SP Bacon is a good item, to compare vs M of all places. I haven't bought any bacon since the other SP Bacon, that they used to stock, thought it was Cooking Bacon:rotfl:.0 -
David.
Giving you and other people advanced warnings because you said that you always miss out on the Sun+ deals.
Free pizza voucher will likely be downloadable from midnight tonight. Also, you can get a free copy of Men's Fitness and Woman's Fitness delivered to your door (not that you need it).
AND you can get a free Little Chef breakfast from next week.
Told you it'd be worth it.
