    Good morning everyone

I've been up since around 5pm, can't sleep again due to angry thoughts. The weekend has been very stressful for me again due to having stepson over. I was quite prepared for it this weekend but then on Friday just before he arrived OH and I had a massive row which put me out of sorts. It will probably take me at least another couple of days to get back to some semblance of normal, normal for me anyway :( I feel so fed up that its Monday and I have to go to work after not enjoying my weekend. I'm starting to feel more and more that I'd be better off if I just go and live alone then I never have to see the people who upset me. Maybe life would be easier that way. I wish I had the guts to do it but I'm too much of a coward to take that step :(

Does anyone have any advice please for getting rid of unwanted thoughts? I should be able to relax now that stepson has gone but I'm still dwelling on what OH said on Friday and how it upset me. I don't want to be like this but if I can't find a way to stop feeling so stressed and anxious the only other answer is to go back on antidepressants, which will bring other problems :(

Have you tried writing exactly what you think in a letter. Don't hold back on anything but don't give it to O/H. Burn it or shred it.

Thanks FC, it is hard sometimes (as you know) but best to just crack on with it. It was harder when he was a baby, but he's just an ace little companion now :T

I consider myself lucky to be honest, there's plenty who have it much much worse :A
Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a have fabulous Monday whatever you are doing.

    Happy shopping.

I'm not really looking forward today as my internet is switching over to Talk Talk sometime and I'll have to set up the new router etc myself. I've not had to do it before and am not very techie. Also, AOL have sent me a final bill which includes nearly £90 early disconnection fee - which has peee'd me off as it was them that suggested I swap over and they assured me that there would be no penalty charges at all as they are the same lot. I also had an email from TT confirming that there would be no early leaving charge. Will be an interesting phone call soon when I finally get through to the Indian call centre - I may be telling them to stuff their product before it's even up and running.

Thank you FC, I rose above it a long time.

One thing that upset me more than anything though, and this may sound strange, but my father died in March and I felt nothing, zero, zilch. Is it strange that that simple fact upset me more than his death? And she was so bad that my daughter actually said she was happy for me when my step-mother died!

People have it far worse, do not think I could cope with what has been thrown your way.

    End of moan :D

Grief is a funny old thing. There's no control over how it hits you. However it does (or doesn't) is fine. I don't think there's a right or wrong way to deal with it. The fact you recognise that you felt nothing.....means you feel something now. Never dismiss your feelings because you think someone has it worse. Feelings are important whoever you are and whatever is affecting you.

Anyway! It's way too early for such deepness :p Im supposed to be getting my face on
