Im off to bed. It's been a tiring but thought provoking and emotional day.

Id like to say thank you to everyone for all the supportive private and public messages this weekend. Each and every one of them is appreciated more than you could ever know.

Id also like to say to the solitary person who accused me of the other nights vileness as an attention seeking effort by myself......I hope your conscience is pricking you. The thought that Id wish death on a member of my own family is truly disgusting and no better than the person that posted the original post.

    I bid you goodnight

    shocking. Saying no more.

Good night lovely lady, hope you sleep well :A :kisses3:

Afternoon all - I will catch up in a while.

I need a lot of help please with youngest sons Christmas list.

so far he has asked me for

"Checked shirts like what lumber jacks have
Samsung tablet wire mine is kaput"

Has anyone any good suggestions for "Checked shirts like what lumber jacks have" ????
Also what on earth could a Samsung tablet wire be and where can I find a replacement?

Also he has asked for books about Hong Kong - living and working there - has anyone any good recommendations?
I might try Freecycle as well - he says to look in charity shops.

Any other suggestions - I am desperate. He is 23 and works as a trainer in the outdoor industry for a multi national company. It ought to be easy to get equipment for him but the stuff he needs is very specialised and a lot of stuff work provides anyway.
He does not want to change his phone, he has got himself a new computer set up so he does not need anything there
(I have got him a new memory card if I can find where I've hidden it! )
Nothing he needs for his van and I think he is happy with everything he has for his home.
He is into gadget things but nothing new has been invented - not interested in x box and game consoles - no time.
He does read and I am always looking out for suitable books like biographies by climbers etc

Last year I had to resort to some mag subscriptions, YHA membership and books and some wheel trims he wanted for his car (which he ordered himself) so his present pile looked a bit dejected :(

Wire for Samsung tablet make sure you know tablet model then amazon have then. I am trying to find genuine tab 2 charger with wire and can't find anything the right budget but wire alone is couple of quid.
Does he want warm lumberjack shirt like the outdoors ones years ago or a nice checked shirt. If nice shirt then one on the sites think it was living social or Groupon have super dry shirts for £24.99.

Just spoken to ds2 and he wants pants and socks as always. Have halloween ones coming so I am themeing socks for the social calender. Got the blue wave ones from topman for summer, Xmas and New year will be easy, just need easter and birthday socks to complete the set. Maybe St Georges Day ones too.
At least will be fun finding them. I also buy him asda walking/work socks.

Ds1 doesn't need anything so will be an add on to his birthday lynx and maybe a new work hat.

Sat with mum doing her list today and as she has many vouchers to buy waiting to see if Mr T give extra points again before buying.
dgs not got a clue and son said buy what you like so a selection of disney planes a book and I tunes voucher so daddy can load on a few more films to his I pad.

Will buy charms to hang on the ribbon of wrapped presents and been looking at 3 for 2 on M and s. Might go with glitter letters this year so will not need to write gift tags.

Quidco only 2 till left on mine. Mum has only done 2 but bought a Laura Ashley voucher from Groupon to spend via quidco so £10 solves £30 on my tiles.

Bit behind still but my quidco has been Ratuken, Groupon, living social, the works, the book people, body shop, boots, topman, moon pig and house of fraser.

Wile doing mums Groupon today I found £20 of M and s vouchers I had forgotten about which will really help mums total.

I like this as a game I can play at home.

Remembering my Great Great Uncle Private Tom Billing who lost his life in ww1 tonight.

  • GN to all those going to bed right now, I've another 43 minutes at work... not that I'm counting... and I've been working on possibly the most geeky thing ever, although I'm hoping a few of you can prove me wrong and point out places of improvement...

    100g toffifee at tesco 37p
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/100g-toffifee-tesco-37p-2046694
Called into tesco express and picked up 12 pieces(100g) of toffifee for .37p it has a bright yellow tesco sticker on the shelf edge so would think it is a national deal, good stocking filler except I have eaten 2 of the 5 boxes I bought.
