Will anyone confess to owning this book? :D

  • Good afternoon everyone :)
No, you only need 8 unique items, but it's always safer to get 1 or 2 more just in case.

This is so important because one or two items could suddenly stop showing on the APG, an SA could scan 2 things through as the same when they are different or an SA may not know how to scan something through so give it to you for free! Yes this happened to me last week when I took 3 grapes to the self checkout, forgetting that they always puts SAs on the self checkouts on weekday early mornings. It makes no sense really but that's what my store does  For some reason SA's seem to have a mental shutdown when faced with small amounts of grapes and have no idea what to do with them :p I have no idea why they cannot treat them the same way as larger amounts of grapes and just weigh them!!! but this never seems to occur to them and they just look at the grapes like they've never seen anything like them before :rotfl:

If you were having a really bad day all of the above could happen at once so to prevent my worries of this happening to me, I always buy at least 11 items :D

If in doubt "my rabbit is poorly and we're trying him on different things to see if he perks up." usually works on quizzical SAs (not my idea - saw it on here from someone else but not sure who!)

...You might not want to use that explanation with bits of ginger though! :rotfl:

There must be so many of us with poorly pets....and you only need the smallest amount of ginger for a cake or some sweets,we usually say "making fudge"

One of the assistants made me laugh the other day when I handed over my apg for about £4...she thought it was large and I looked vague at her and said "beginners luck I guess".....and she then proceded to tell me that apparenly there are websites where you can check prices and people look at to find bargins.....I just said "ooh....a bit to technical for me"

I know where you are coming from Emm;)I would far rather have a better quality second hand item than a cheap new one;) and get such a buzz knowing how much I have saved.

This made me laugh so much how I'll keep a straight face I don't know. Best let the OH know or it'll be 'But we don't have a rabbit' across the check out, now that would make for an awkward moment!! :rotfl:

tweets...I hope you find a shampoo that your hair likes....I've been trying too for years to find "the one"...sometimes its all good after the first couple of washes and then it all falls apart by the end of the bottle.

Years ago we were in a hotel in dubai, and the stuff that was the complimentary shampoo was brilliant....I confess I decanted it out of the shower dispenser on a daily basis over the week that we were there so I had some to come home with.....but I've no idea what it was nor found anything like it since.

My hair is exactly like that shampoo starts of likening my hair then :(

Cant get footie link to work :( will keep trying :)
