It would be rather mental ! i went over to see Mrs Mac. She thought I would be taller !

But it was rather wonderful, a: because she is just brilliant. But b: to speak so freely about my life that people in my life don't get. ! :D

We have to do this :D
...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Morning all, hope last night's nastiness is a one off and hugs to those who were targeted - I don't post much but I'm around most of the time, counting my blessings :) and my apgs!
Can anyone tell me about the Tosco Autumn thing - does it work even if you weren't sent an email inviting you?
Hope to go and see the poppies later - kids been learning about them at school and are very excited. Train tix almost covered by fantasy golf points on redspottedhanky, very MSE. Shame they also want a Chinese as a trip to wonkeys (really Wong Kei, but their way is much better) is also a request, as is a ride on a 'tunnel train'! Love kids take on words.

Thanks BB - I just discovered this for myself. I looked when first posted but it said to do it from the account with the same email address as you received the invite - should have just given it a go. Fingers crossed they'll do it again.

Missed what went on last night but it sounds awful. So sorry people were upset by it, especially FC for whom I have a lot of admiration for for everything she has going on and the caring nature that clearly shines through from her posts.

tweets - I have the greasy hair problem, and have to wash it every day. I have found, through trial and error, there is only one shampoo/conditioner i can use, as if I use anything else then it literally feels chip fat greasy as soon as I've washed it, its gross! I use the pink bottle of loreal elvive, which is for greasy hair. I have to use the same brand of conditioner with it, if I only use the shampoo it still feels greasy after. Anyway, if you haven't already tried this one, give it a go.

My DD who is 15 is the same, so i always keep bottles of the stuff and live in fear of it being discontinued! Its a pain when we go on holiday, as can't make use the free bottles of shampoo in hotels etc, but worth it for having hair that doesn't look like its bathed in grease! :rotfl:

Up early this morning, DD has gone to London with a friend as they have tickets for the X factor. No guarantee they will get in, and google suggests not many people do as the studios are smaller than they look and filled with friends/family of the performers etc. They got in the queue at 9.30am, and the doors don't open until 7pm. Have told her she is mental, and made her go with a bag packed full of food and blankets, so will see what happens!
