Not sure if things have changed but the 25% off came off full price in 2009 (was one of my first MSE glitches after joining surprise surprise :D).

And this old 2010 thread shows it did again that year.

Well I can safely say I've just had my most bizarre supermarket experience! Was in Morries, getting a couple of bits for CoS and CS and had two small shops separated out on the belt. It was really busy as it was lunchtime and the kids from the local high school go in there, so there were quite a few kids in the queue behind me.

So as I was about to pay I asked the SA if I could buy as well bag please as I didn't have one one me. The conversation that then followed went like this...

SA: We can't give bags to school children
Me: Erm, what do you mean?
SA: We can't give bags to school children..
    Me: Are you serious?!
    SA: Yes
Me: Erm, I'm not a school child..
SA: You must be in college then
    Me: No...
SA: Well you're with those kids in the queue
Me: Actually no I'm not. All I want is a bag to put my stuff in please.
SA Is just looking at me like I've got 2 heads at this point. Then my DD comes over.
Me: I'm actually an adult, this is my daughter, and that man stood in the cafe queue waving to her is my husband, I'd just like a bag please.
SA: Ok you can have a bag

Honestly, no word of a lie! I'm still scratching my head now trying to work it out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think this beats me getting charged half fare without asking on bus when I was 21. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You do know you now have to let us in on your secret. ;)

You have to spend £100 across 12 retailers. I'm aiming to spend about £5 at 11 retailers so that I can spend £95 at the 12th retailer

But that won't work...unless I've not it wrong..their terns state at least £12 spent on the first 6 purchases...

Until the user makes purchases at 6 participating retailers the cashback bonus will remain locked and will not be payable to the user. The bonus will become payable after purchases are made at the required number of participating retailers and the user's total spend at bonus retailers is twice that bonus amount. For the avoidance of doubt to unlock a £6 bonus a user must spend at least £12 at the 6 participating retailers used to unlock the tier 1 bonus of £6, £50 at the 9 retailers used to unlock the tier 2 bonus of £25 and £100 at the 12 retailers used to unlock the tier 3 bonus of £50.
