They've got the sprout chocs in M and S and also little clementine chocs
  • I always found a magazine - football, computer, gaming, music etc, rolled up it and stuck it in the top of the stocking was a good way to fill out a teenage boys stocking and keeps them quiet over the holidays.

Great suggestions. The key ring stasher I had a look and does anyone know of one that holds coins? Would rather not give teen a note if I can help it.:D

Also, DS saw a card holder he liked in HMV, it's a Breaking Bad one, but I looked at it today and it's only got room for 2 cards, admittedly son only owns 3 cards (bank, library and travel pass) but it just seemed not very big for the £3.99 cost. Anyone know of any bigger ones?

If anyone is interested, lynx shower get is around 97p in Wilkinsons. I'd put a mini one in my basket which was over £1 (not for son, but for a diy advent calendar for my colleagues) but put it back when the lots larger size was cheaper.

I own 2 teenage boys and they generally get in their stockings -

    Choc coins
    Choc orange
    Spray deoderant
    Hair gel/putty
    Xmas socks
    Xmas pants
What used to be a DVD, now replaced with a tenner of mytunes or zbox voucher
    Earphone buds style
A selection pack of AA and AAA Batteries for their remotes (they always run out at the most awkward times)
face mosturiser for their delicate little chops
They will have a razor each this year too - to help with 'bum fluff faces'
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Pyjamas for the one who wears them (!)
    Jumper or shirt
    gloves/slippers depending on need
    novelty pen/pencil/ruler/coaster
kitchen/baking items for the one who like cooking
    beef jerky

  • Hello all! Thought I'd share what my 13yo DS will get in his stocking this year:

    Lynx deodorant
    Lynx shower gel
Top Gear book of super cars
    Guitar magazine
    £10 Amazon gift voucher
    Guitar key ring
    Guitar pen
    Guitar t-shirt
    chocolate coins
    Minecraft tips & tricks book
Dungeons & Dragons flip mat & dice
Chocolate car with his name piped on
    Headphone tidy
    USB stick
    DVD
    Sharpie pens
    Hair putty
    Set of guitar picks
    Outdoors survival bracelet
    XBox live gift card

Will add some Haribo and a box of Oreos a bit nearer the time.

Hmmm now that I look at it that does seem like a lot, but I've been collecting bits & pieces for the last couple of months, scouring for deals instore, on Amazon & ebay, and apart from the 2 gift cards most items have cost just a couple of pounds each. No prizes for guessing his hobbies! :D
