Light pressie for a little boy

I have to send my youngest grandsons christmas pressie abroad so I need suggestions for something that doesn't weigh much I already have some clothes and a book plus a couple of little bits but wanted one nice toy preferably nothing plasticy I'd ideally like something wooden but problem is the weight.. he is 16mths old so any suggestions please?

This idea may not appeal, but just in case.... Have you thought of buying an item on ebay using the ebay site local to his country and asking the seller to send direct (all you need to do is enter the delivery details at the time you checkout)? Means you don't see the item, but if you choose a seller with excellent feedback, may well be a good solution.0
