Looking at Twitter it seems it's been proper down for hours.
  • Can anyone explain how the Topcashback works with this? I have Pre-registered my card but not sure what to do next?

    Thanks
  • Ive just had a look and after u have registered ur card u have to activate the offer u want cashback on so go to argos offer on tvb and click activate. Then reserve ur items , pay for them in store with the registered card and providing it is over £50 u will get cashback on the transaction into ur tcb account within a few weeks. Hope that all made sense :-)

Thanks, I save £20 by not collecting some toys I'd reserved and had to collect by yesterday , I reserved them again and got them today instead!! Woo hoo x

Is anyone else having problems with their local store and their stock levels? Ive put 11 items (toys) in my basket and only two are in stock from the 7 closest stores to me. Aghhhhhh! Very frustrating!

i have problems with Argo's telling me items in stock at my chosen store But when i go through checkout it then tells me ti have yo collect on different days

but it is so frustrating when it tells you it is in stock at local store then tells you none left when you go to checkout

About a day into these sales loads of things go out of stock as I don't find they carry many at each store as it is. I reserved 9 items yesterday and picked them all up this morning no problem but if I look at those items now I can't get them all.
  • I took part in the last 3 for 2, I just logged in to see what else I could get this time round, and just checked the prices of the things I brought last time.
If I purchased them today I would be £40 better off!
I have emailed Argos customer services, but if no response as they gave me a Christmas receipt when I purchased I will take them back for a refund and then repurchase at the lower rate.

If it was a few pounds difference I would let it slide but £40 is another present for my daughter and I think is a bit bad of Argos!

I also bought things in the last offering and found i would be £20 better off if bought today. It was still worth it for me so i called the customer service who told me that as it was 5 days outside the 30 day guaranteed refund date, it would only be refunded at the managers discretion. I went yesterday ready to fight it out but i was given a refund with no complaints at all.
I have since bought back the same items and just added another £12 to my £20 to get an additional 3 smaller presents that had been reduced by significant discounts and also at 3 for 2 so I'm well chuffed.
Definitely go for it I'd say.

No use for anyone currently but maybe a glitch to take advantage of in the future. I bought 3 toys priced £24.99, £22.49 & £19.99 using fast track and the £19.99 toy went through as free, as the £22.49 item wasn't a stock item but ordered to store it had a separate FT number to be collected when available.

I made a bit of fuss about this as collection of the £24.99 and 'free' item as hadn't realised it wasn't a stock item but once the assistant had advised it was on a separate FT number and I would need the release code to collect I was happy.

It was only yesterday I realised I still hadn't received my release code so sent an email to Argos enquiring about its whereabouts to wake up this morning to a refund of £22.49! I'm guessing as they only allow 7 days to collect fast track items this was an automatic process.

    So I now have my £24.99 & £19.99 items for £24.99 :)
