I get my little pasta from sainsburys, for a fussy 9 year old who moans at the big pasta but eats the mini versions. Last time I got conchigliette (tiny shells), alphabet letters and stars on the 3 for 2 offer. They also do a cute mini version of twists called fusillini.

T K Maxx sells poorly packaged over-priced "luxury" foodstuffs. I bought stacks of conchigliette from Asda when it was on offer for the grand sum of 10p / 500g packs the year before last. My intention was to use it for pasta salads but the reality is I haven't touched it.
If I want to add pasta to minestrone, I either break up some value spaghetti or if I'm feeling extravagant I'll stick a handful of orzo in.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I bought some small shells from Waitrose a while back. We had them in minestrone last night and they were lovely. I've also seen quite a few different small pastas in Asda.0

When i'm making soup i always start with a base of pearl barley and dried broth mix. The soup mixes i usually get from Morrisons but i think others do the 'Great Scot' type, some of the soup mixes contain tiny bits of pasta.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Well i've come in from fixing the door. It's getting to dull to see to do anymore, and i'm cold.
Shaved the door and it opens and closes ok now but 'cos some wood has been taken off, the locks are just that little bit out. Fixed one lock but the second one will have to wait untill tomorrow. The house will be safe that's only the outside door, the porch has an inner door that has two locks so i'm still ok.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
