The big benefit for me would be that I still rub my eyes like a little kid (despite being 27 now!). No matter how hard I try I can't stop myself so if I'm wearing make-up it ends up smudged to heck.

This might be the ideal thing for me to try! I assume you can do top and bottom lashes.

bought some and gave it a go but i couldnt stand the stuff my eyes were watering within 2mins and i had to wash them out... mind u i have very short lashes so maybe that was the problem (either that or i am a wimp lol)

will stick to having it done at the salon i think.. shame cos would save a fortune.. oh well

I've used this for a couple of years and never had any bother. I usully put it on whilst lying in the bath! I lie and read with it on....I know, I shouldn't but have never had any problems with it. If I find that I put it on the skin then yes, it will sting so I just wash it off and start again. I am on my way to perming my lashes myself now :)

my skin was fine it was my eyes that watered and stung.. i do think the fact my lashes are so short are the problem as it was so fiddly to get the stuff on, even at the salon they have a job

well i now have a pack of dark brown thats going spare if anyones in essex and wants it,, got to be moneysaving about this in some way or another lol

Eyelash perming is fantastic! I got it done a couple of months ago for going on holiday. Basically, they use tiny pad things....like rollers, to glue your eyelashes to. They then add the 'perming lotion' let it set and then neutralise it. I got my eyelashes tineted afterwards and the effect was amazing! I have really long eyelashes but they are straight and blonde:( I have to wear mascara so you can just see my lashes. With this I did not have to wear any for the first month. I only added some at night, just for myself, so I could have more of an effect. Everyone commented on something being different with my eyes, that they looked really nice.

You need to wait 3 months between perms though and I am at the halfway stage at the moment, where half my lashes are upright and black and half are straight and blonde! I just mask it by wearing more mascara. As soon as the 3 months is up though i will be getting them permed again. :)
