Senior Railcards

My senior railcard is due for renewal but am not needing to use it right now. Does anyone know if fees are going to increase soon or whether I could wait to renew until next year? Many thanks

Fares tend to go up in the first week of January, so I would keep your eye open for any notice of an increase at that time... or just before.
Generally, I would say that if you have no trips planned, then do not buy a new card until you need to use it.
Three months is worth £7.50, so you will probably save more by delaying your purchase. I would predict that if there is going to be an increase, it will be less than half that.
That is just my opinion... I have no inside knowledge.
Don't forget that you can get a railcard at half price with Tesco Clubcard.0 -
Belated thanks for your reply - much appreciated! Also I didn't know that I can buy a railcard at half price with Tesco clubcard - thanks for that too!

Tesco club card holders need to have earned clubcard coupons to half the value of the railcard.
eg. You can use £15 of Tesco clubcard coupons to buy a £30 railcard0
