I live in a large northern city with a wide range of supermarkets all with good, cheap ethnic aisles and have looked for it all over the place (multiple branches of Tesco, Asda, Morrisons etc) without success.

I’ve been looking in both the ethnic aisles and the bottled oils sections and have never seen it, only other brands that are much more expensive.

I did buy some a couple of years back, I'm pretty sure it was in one of the asian run supermarkets in Hyson Green, Nottingham. So you may be better off looking in asian stores rather than supermarkets. I've also found the Asda in Hyson Green has far more 'ethnic' foods than in others around Notts so even a supermarket in a more ethnic area could be a good bet.

I get mine at my local tesco but I know Amazon sells it and no doubt you can probably find it on eBay

  • For anything KTC related, you're best off at an asian supermarket even if it's only a small one. Loads of them in the North, and virtually everything a fraction of the main supermarket prices.

  • Thanks for the suggestions. I managed to get a large tub from Tesco today for £2.25 but it was at least the third Tesco I had been in, along with an Asda , Sainsbs and severla Morrisons. I wouldn't pay £6 for it.
