Hi,
Just wondered if someone can help with the below query I have.
I have the below default, the details are from the Experian website. I am hoping to start looking at getting a mortgage on some new builds going up in our area. We are looking at either shared ownership, or the help to buy scheme as me and my wife are 1st time buyers. What do you think the chances of getting a mortgage with the below default.
Deafault 1
Bank Loan
Deafaulted - Sept 2009 (£7333)
Settled - Oct 2011
Thanks

Possible depending upon the rest of the detail of your case.
This time next year as you are aware, credit should become a lot easier when the default comes off your file.I am a Mortgage Broker

No idea on the shared ownership but using help to buy 2 (the 5% deposit, 95% mortgage) im sure there will be a lender or 2 who will look at this.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
