    Hi,
    does anyone know wether the Nintendo DS Lite battery pack is compatible with the Nintendo DS as that is the one my son has got ??

    :confused::confused:

    I'm pretty sure it's not compatible. The DS and DS Lite have different power leads as well. Since the DS Lite is made to be smaller/lighter, the components are different.

    I've been trying all week to get one. Just tried now and they're back in stock so it must be an ongoing price.

    One annoying thing about changing batteries is that you need to re-setup the whole DS when you change them. I just realized that now. So, I wouldn't plan on just swapping out the batteries each time. It's better to keep charging the one already in your DS if you can. The spare battery would just be a backup if you're away from power for a long time (or if you don't want to bring your power lead).

    Very handy piece of kit, it's certainly saved being wired to the mains or battling over the one that's charged up :D
