Flaw in Morrissons Match and More

My mother has been using a temporary match and more card for the least few weeks.
On her last shopping she received a Week 3 voucher on the "Payback Bonus" promotion but did not receive a £ 5 Match and More voucher which I discovered later online she should have had too.
This got me thinking.
I received my own Match and More £ 5 voucher the previous week and nowhere on the voucher is there any reference to my membership number or to the receipt that prompted the voucher payback.
It is simply a case of the cashier remembering to hand it over.
My Mum can't prove they didn't give her a £ 5 voucher and they can't prove they did but I suspect the default position will be they will just assume they did everything right and my Mum will lose out on her voucher AND all the 5000 points she has accumulated over the weeks.
Surely there should be some form of confirmation at the checkout till ?

I was told you don't get anything back until you have your permanent card, or at least until it has been created for you and is ready to post.
The temporary card is just for you to collect points, not spend them.
what is confusing me is when I log into her online account it seems to suggest that she has been given her £ 5 voucher and her points tally reset.
and we will never, ever return.
Could just mean they have created your permanent card/account but you haven't received it yet.
I got the temporary card and registered ASAP. got my voucher the visit after my 5000 points were accrued. This was last week and my proper card arrived yesterday.

Took 1p off when I used mine.
I've had several coupons and they all took 1p off my bill.
