Hi, can anyone help me my mum wants to help me pay off my credit cards as my credit isn't very good she was thinking off applying for a credit card and doing a balance transfer - would this be possible?

You can find some cards that will let you transfer balances from other people's accounts, but you will need to check that this is possible on the card she obtains.
She would need to apply for a card that did this and offered her sufficient credit to cover your debt. She would be paying off your debt, because it would then be in her name and if you failed to repay her she will be fully liable.
Personally, I'd avoid borrowing money off family and friends unless you have absolutely no alternative whatsoever. Post a statement of affairs up here to get some help with reducing your expenditure and advice on how to pay your debts as quickly and effectively as possible. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
