I purchased a new car at the start of September, paying on 3 years 0% finance.
On picking the car up I was surprised not to receive any paperwork of any kind re the finance but thought something would come in the post. Then the first payment date came and went but still no paperwork. My wife received a call from someone claiming to "work on behalf of Nissan Finance" (who was really trying to sell insurance) who claimed they don't send out paperwork now.
This can't be right surely? I don't know any of the contact details for the company, who to call if there a change in circumstances or anything.

You should have received a customer copy when you signed the agreement as well as a SECCI (Standard European Consumer Credit Information) document to read through or take away outlining the details of the finance before signing.
Most lenders call after the supplier has been paid to try sell insurance.
Call Nissan Finance and request a copy of the paperwork/T&C's.0 -
Did you not sign a document when you took out the finance? You're supposed to be given a copy of that when you sign it.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

All I received at time of order was a copy of the dealerships order form. I signed on an electronic gadget for the finance but didn't receive anything.
On collection of the car I received an invoice for my new vehicle and paperwork for my trade in.0 -
Strange not to receive anything but I do know many lenders are opting for E-signatures now to save paper and time.
Again, call Nissan Finance and request a copy...simples0 -
SeanG79 is spot on. Just call Nissan Finance on:

And ask for a copy of the loan agreement, including terms and conditions which should be included. They won;t mess you around and may possibly email you the documents tomorrow...0 -
Agreed! My guess is that the person your wife spoke to has their wires crossed (probably insurance based rather than customer services)
They will have a copy of the docs with your e click signature shown. Nothing to worry about, i'm sure. Just request a copy.0
