When to buy?

Hi

Moved into a new house about a year ago, a couple of things we need to buy is a decent lawn mower (ideally petrol) and secondly a summer house.

Several months ago i was advised by a colleague that I should wait until around October as that is when all the "garden" deals will start as companies need to make room for other equipment.

Well I am been looking virtually every day for the last couple of months and found no new deals coming up. Is this just a myth? and should or do deals really come in off season?

Have a look on eBay, Gumtree etc for second hand lawn mowers.

Late August onwards is the best time to start looking for these types of goods.

Apart from the excellent advice from Avoriaz I suggest that you keep an eye on the bargains posted on Hot UK Deals.

Another website worth looking at is Offer of the Day which I can't link to because MSE have blocked it due to spam. They only list companies that they receive referral fees from though.
