I am moving abroad and sent my P85 for a tax refund. Do you know when it should arrive? Will it be after the tax year ends?

Did you include your P45 with it? HMRC will need that for an 'in year' refund, otherwise it would be after April when they have your P60 details. If you have non-cash benefits, that might scupper things, as the P11D won't be available until around early July.
I assume you won't have UK rental income going forward, which would most likely stop an 'in year' refund.
Assuming you are not affected by these, timing depends on how up-to-date the HMRC office is with their post, but six to eight weeks seems about the average.'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
