Anyone else miss a payment due to 'upgrading system'?

I've only just managed to find out why I didn't receive anything in September.Apparently, with the change to the system where parents are now charged,there were a few cases where the system decided not to bother with September leaving 'a few' of us with no payment. Although,I'm surprised there are ' a few' when they had no idea what happened to mine and only started looking last week after I made a formal complaint after being brushed off!
They have said they'll ask ex if he will pay it now,if not it'll be added to arrears at the next review (currently accumulated £168 arrears) and spread out over next year. Helpful.
